Emily Olszewski (b. 1995) is a figurative painter whose work functions as an analysis of femme-based communities and the hierarchies that exist within those groups. 
Olszewski earned her BFA from the University of Akron in 2019, and her MFA from Kent State University in 2024. She has exhibited nationally, with notable solo exhibitions with Abattoir Gallery (2025) and 5-50 Gallery in Queens, New York (2026). Olszewski has participated as artist and curator in the SPRING/BREAK Art Show in New York City (2024), and was an online participant in in the 2025 Toronto Outdoor Art Fair.  Her work has been featured in Two Coats of Paint blogzine as well as the 51st edition of Create Magazine.
Emily lives and works in Akron, Ohio.
